Muruku Rag Doll
A naive, delightful, black and white imaginative world of doodles by a six year old translated into textile rag dolls.
The little girl drew without any boundaries of a canvas - walls, floors and even her own skin. Each doodle was translated into these rag dolls with hand embroidered clothes and a unique personality.
Meet the Bachoo: Muruku - Muruku is an eight year old with a very active imagination. She brings it to life with large wall murals. She makes her own colours and inks with mud, crushed leaves and flowers. She worships animals and dreams of them as her companions - two monkeys, ten cats, four dogs and a cow, for now.
