Mangrove Dress - Basil Green

Inspired by the exalted mangrove forests with exposed roots, this handwoven pleated shirt dress features semi-long, spaced out sleeves, a distinct collar and is dotted with minimal hand embroidery to set you off on an evergreen journey. It’s a time to be conscious and this Shibui piece was made using only organic materials like the eco-friendly khadi fabric that feels soft to touch and chemical-free dyes namely Pomegranate and Madder Root to achieve the sap green and brown hues that this dress is available in. This piece is handwoven in Madhya Pradesh and embroidered in Uttar Pradesh.
